Additional third-party sources such as Morningstar® and Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. are used to supplement the firm's research function.

INVESTMENT MANAGER RESEARCH PROCESS
Through its open-architecture partnership, the firm has access to several hundred fully researched investment manager solutions that can be used within client portfolios.
The approved managers are selected based on a thorough qualitative and quantitative research process that is designed to illustrate the long-term value creation of each manager within their respective mandate.
The Coral Gables Trust Company Investment Committee (TIC) has the responsibility to approve and monitor each strategy. The Committee selects investment managers that possess high quality attributes such as low turnover, conviction in their holdings, strong downside protection and positive risk adjusted returns over market cycles.
